Banana and berry fruit salad recipe

Ingredients
Serves: 8
350g strawberries, hulled and quartered
330g blueberries
100g caster sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
4 bananas

Method
Prep: 10min › Extra time:30min chilling › Ready in:40min
Mix the strawberries and blueberries together in a bowl, sprinkle with sugar and lemon juice and toss lightly. Refrigerate until cold, at least 30 minutes. About 30 minutes before serving, cut the bananas into 1.75cm thick slices and toss with the berries.

Ingredient Note
Red raspberries can be substituted for the strawberries. The lemon juice acts as a preservative so that the bananas don't turn brown.
